What is AMM Local?
This January, join students across the country for a new mathematical challenge!
OMEGA's AMM Local brings thoughtfully crafted problems, creative problem solving, and the AMM experience close to home with a nationwide competition for 8th–12th graders held simultaneously at 40+ sites.
Here's what to look forward to:
- Original problems from our creative team, led by Head Writer Evan Chen
- Time to explore ideas, with an emphasis on creative thinking, problem solving, and clear explanations rather than speed
- Hand-grading of all student work by expert graders, with partial credit for meaningful progress
- Open registration, with no qualifying score requirements
- Highly secure testing conditions to ensure the trustworthiness of competition results.
We hope to see you there!
